Shire Folk


1½ ounces nasturtium leaf vodka (recipe follows)

¾ ounce dry vermouth (preferably Boissiere Dry)

¾ ounce lime juice

¾ ounce simple syrup

For the nasturtium leaf vodka:

1 ounce nasturtium leaves, plus more for garnish

750 milliliter bottle of vodka


Make the nasturtium leaf vodka:

Blend 1 ounce nasturtium leaves into one 750 milliliter bottle of vodka, then fine strain. (Alternatively, 1 gram nasturtium per 1 ounce vodka)

Make the cocktail:

In a cocktail tin filled with ice, add all ingredients and shake until chilled. Strain into chilled nick & nora or martini glass.
