Wet Money

By: Hannah Lee Leidy
The bright green Wet Money made at Tiki TNT in Maryland uses Thrasher's White Rum

Can’t choose between a margarita and a mai tai? Go for this rum-meets-tequila cocktail they shake up at Tiki TNT in Washington DC. Bright and full of punchy flavor, the Wet Money gets its vibrant green color from the combination of Blue Curaçao and passionfruit syrup (we recommend using Liber & Co. brand).

Tiki TNT owner Todd Thrasher created this cocktail using Thrasher’s White Rum, which he distills in his urban distillery on DC’s Historic Wharf. Thrasher pulls on inspiration from his travels throughout the Pacific Rim and the Caribbean to craft his rums, which include a gold rum, spiced, green-spiced, coconut, white (which is used in this recipe), and a relaxed rum (their highest proof offering).
