Opening Night

Wednesday, March 4
Kick off Charleston Wine + Food’s 20th anniversary with a night that’s equal parts reunion, celebration, and feast! Set against the stunning backdrop of Cistern Yard on the College of Charleston campus, this party features over 30 local chefs alongside South Carolina Chef Ambassadors, showcasing the city’s culinary past, present, and future.
Guests will savor iconic dishes from Charleston’s most influential chefs, including culinary pioneers no longer in the kitchen but whose impact continues to shape the scene. Sip wine, local brews, and cocktails crafted by Charleston’s best bartenders as the night comes alive with live music, dancing, and the energy of a true city-wide celebration.
It’s a chance to honor the foundation, revel in the present, and toast the future of Charleston cuisine—all in one unforgettable evening. Come for the food, drinks, and stories, stay for the fun, music, and dancing under the stars. Let’s toast to twenty!

Shell yea! Shucked is back, and this one’s all about celebrating oysters—the crown jewel of the Lowcountry. From raw and steamed to fried or in a shooter, oysters take center stage alongside a bounty of seafood-inspired bites that honor Charleston’s coastal flavors and traditions. Each bite tells a story of the salt marshes, the rivers, and the local waters that make this region so special.
Pair your oysters with crisp wines, cold brews, or crafty cocktails as you soak in views of the Cooper River and a classic Lowcountry sunset. Dance, sip, and savor an afternoon that’s equal parts fun, flavor, and tribute to the iconic oyster. The Lowcountry sure knows how to put on a show!
Bubbles + Sweats
Thursday, March 5
Ready for a little something (extra) sweet? We’re bringing Bubbles + Sweets back for the 20th anniversary, and it’s bigger, bolder, and more indulgent than ever.
This late-night soirée is where pastry perfection meets sparkling sophistication. From glossy ganache to playful plated desserts, we’re spotlighting pastry chefs from Charleston and across the country, each bringing their signature moves to the party. Expect expert creativity, rich textures, and sweet bites that hit just right late at night. And of course, we can’t forget about the bubbles, from Champagne and pét-nats to sparkling cocktails and fizzy surprises. Chic meets cheeky as we cap off the night with a lil’ something sweet.
But that’s not all. Bubbles + Sweet’s debut will feature an auction component to raise funds for the CHSWF Culinary + Hospitality Foundation 20th Anniversary Campaign. Guests will have the chance to bid on wine-and food-focused travel experiences all guided by the one and only Tom Crawford. Street Eats: The Charleston Edition

Taste Charleston and beyond like never before! This one-of-a-kind event celebrates the evolution and expansion of Charleston’s food community over the past 20 years—stretching from the historic peninsula to neighborhoods like James Island, Sullivan’s Island, Park Circle, Hanahan, West Ashley, and more, each now defined by the unique culinary scene thriving there.
Street Eats: The Charleston Edition brings together the chefs, bars, restaurants, and food trucks that make each area special, along with a few out-of-town friends, for a night of unforgettable bites, drinks, and community spirit. Stroll, sip, and savor your way through the region’s hidden corners and culinary highlights, experiencing the flavors and creativity that have transformed Charleston and its surrounding neighborhoods into a culinary destination.
As part of our 20th anniversary celebration, this event tells the story of community growth, collaboration, and the people who have built the Lowcountry’s vibrant food scene—one neighborhood at a time.
Pinot Envy!

Guess who’s baaack? It wouldn’t be the 20th celebration of CHSWF without Pinot Envy, so we’ve brought it back for a victory lap! This festival-favorite event celebrates the versatile varietal of Pinot—from Pinot Blanc to Pinot Grigio to Pinot Noir… you get the idea. Explore the sweet, spicy, and downright delicious side of Pinot while enjoying new wines, talented chefs, and a delectable waterside outdoor setting perfect for pairing.
But that’s not all—this year’s Pinot Envy features an auction component to raise funds for the CHSWF Culinary + Hospitality Foundation 20th Anniversary Campaign. For 20 years, barbecue has held a permanent—and delicious—place on the Charleston Wine + Food schedule, honoring the South’s rich culinary heritage while celebrating global flavors. This year, we’re turning up the heat with a throwback event that pays tribute to all the BBQ memories we’ve created together: from World of Cue to Side Hustle, Toasted Up in Smoke to Smokin’ in the Boys Room, Black Tie BBQ, BBQ, Brews + Blues, The Smokeshow, and more.
From Lowcountry pits to Korean grills, Texas brisket to Puerto Rican pernil, we’re “toasting” to all things barbecue—past, present, and future. Join us for a bold, flavor-packed journey through the techniques, traditions, and side dishes that have shaped and redefined BBQ. Sip island-inspired cocktails, savor flavor-forward dishes from chefs with Caribbean roots, and move to rhythms and beats straight from the Islands. With the harbor as your backdrop, it’s a full-on celebration of Caribbean culture, Charleston style—where every bite, sip, and groove is a reason to toast, dance, and feast!
