Sweet Tea Festival & Hold My Tea Bar Crawl

Join us in Summerville, the Birthplace of Sweet Tea, for two exciting events: the Hold My Tea Bar Crawl and the Sweet Tea Festival! From September 14th to 20th, explore top bars and restaurants competing in the Sweet Tea Cocktail Contest during the Hold My Tea Bar Crawl.

During the multi-day crawl, you’ll enjoy unique craft sweet tea cocktails while playing Bar Crawl Bingo for a free event shirt! Pick up your Bingo card at participating locations, the Summerville Visitor Center, or download it from visitsummerville.com. The fun continues with the Sweet Tea Festival on Saturday, September 19th, in Downtown Summerville, where sweet tea will be flowing, food and craft vendors will be plentiful, and live entertainment will keep the celebration going. It’s a delicious way to experience Summerville’s restaurants, downtown businesses, and signature sweet tea story in one festive week, with plenty to sip, taste, and explore.
