Makes 1 cocktail

  • 1½ ounces George Dickel Tennessee Whisky
  • ½ ounce Montenegro Amaro
  • 1 ounce black sauce*
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • Garnish: Mint sprig and dehydrated lemon wheel

  • *To make black sauce, create a simple syrup from smoked/burnt brown sugar and infuse it with ginger and mint.
  1. In a cocktail tin filled with ice, combine all ingredients except garnishes.
  2. Shake, then strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  3. Garnish with a mint sprig and dehydrated lemon wheel.
