Remarkable for what it is NOT (not over sauced nor over seasoned), this simple crab salad recipe of lettuce wraps is a traditional crowd pleaser at a Holiday Feast of Seven Fishes.
1 head green bibb lettuce
1 head radicchio
1 pound fresh lump crab
1 cup dijon mustard
1 cup mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
Arrange lettuces in a small serving dishes. In a mixing bowl, combine crab, dijon mustard, and mayonnaise. Toss together lightly so the crab stays intact. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Use an ice cream scoop to place on top of lettuces in dish and serve cold.
