Cranberry Sauce with Golden Raisins


12 ounces fresh cranberries

2 cups golden raisins

1 cup white wine

1 cup orange juice

1 cup sugar

Sachet of 5 cloves, 5 allspice berries, 5 juniper berries, and peel from ½ orange


  1. In a saucepan over low heat, cook cranberries until they release their juices and reduce until thick.
  2. In a separate saucepan, bring raisins, wine, orange juice, 1 cup water, and sachet to a boil. Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Drain raisins and combine with cranberry sauce.
