2 cups whole, peeled, roasted chestnuts
⅓ cup honey
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Salt to taste
3 sprigs fresh thyme, thyme removed from stem
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss chestnuts with honey and melted butter. Lay chestnuts on an ungreased baking sheet and sprinkle with salt to taste.
- Roast in oven for 10−15 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the oven and while cooling, sprinkle with fresh thyme. Serve warm.
