Mix-and-Match Jam Cocktail

By: The Local Palate
Two renditions of a mix-and-match jam cocktail

Chef Steve McHugh of Cured in San Antonio, Texas shares this simple cocktail formula that can be changed out for variations on liquor and jam. “I love a cocktail that uses ingredients you probably have lying around the house. This may seem like just a three-ingredient cocktail, but its personality changes depending on what jam you have and what type of liquor you pair with it. The jam adds sweetness but also fruity flavor and body, while the club soda lightens everything up,” he says.

Suggested Jam and Spirit Pairings
