    ingredients
  • For the sausage balls:
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1⁄2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1⁄2 cup cream cheese
  • 1⁄2 cup jarred pimentos, drained and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, Bisquick, shredded cheese, cream cheese, chopped pimentos, mayonnaise, and garlic powder. Use your hands or a sturdy spoon to mix until thoroughly combined. If mixture feels too dry or crumbly, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to help bind it together.
3. Roll mixture into 1 1⁄2-inch balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
