One cocktail

  • 4 basil leaves
  • 1 ounce Niepoort Tawny (Eight Row Flint recommends the 10 year)
  • ½ ounce Leopold’s New England Cranberry Liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon pomegranate molasses
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1¼ ounces Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic
  • Garnish: lemon peel, basil leaves

Lightly muddle basil leaves in a glass to release aromatics. Add all remaining ingredients with ice and stir. Garnish with lemon peel and basil leaves.
