Mediterranean Dining with Turkish Influence

a spread at Zeytin

Zeytin is a fresh Mediterranean breakfast and lunch spot. Their large, unique menu blends American breakfast classics like omelettes, waffles and benedicts with Turkish specialties like pides, dolma and kebab.

They are open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and serve dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5–9 p.m.

What’s Good Here?

With fresh flavors and inventive spins on classics, you can’t go wrong with whatever you’re craving. The tomato and goat cheese toast is a fantastic lighter option, which comes topped with a balsamic glaze and is served with a side of berries. The brie lobster omelette gives a layer of savory indulgence to a traditional breakfast favorite. For the sweet tooths among us, the crème brulee goat cheese crepes add a caramelized crunch to bites of custard-filled crepes.

Chef specials bring Mediterranean flavors to the breakfast menu, like sujuk and eggs, a traditional Turkish sausage served with eggs and melted Kasar cheese, and menemen, which is eggs scrambled into a sauce of onions, peppers and tomatoes – a dish perfect for dipping your bread.

To drink, you can’t go wrong with any one of the colorful mimosa concoctions. Better yet – order a flight and get a taste of four.

What’s the Vibe?

With its tall ceilings, contemporary decor and warm lighting, Zeytin is a place you can really linger. The airy atmosphere invites you in and the food makes it hard to leave. However, as chic as it looks, it’s still a place where you can relax and be yourself. You can feel comfortable here even if it’s the first stop on the way to the beach.
