And for the second year, as an added bonus, the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau plans to keep the peachy vibes going with its Peach Week celebration, July 18-28, so mark your calendars and save the dates!

There are plenty of things to experience and enjoy throughout Peach Week.

Enjoy peach ice cream and other treats at many events, compliments of the CVB. Area farmers markets throughout Moore County will be offering peaches and peach products during the celebration. There will also be a special Peach Week 5K Run with First Health Fitness, and the week will be capped off with a Peach-A-Palooza party at James Creek Cider House in Cameron, an event filled with live music, orchard and production area tours along with peach ciders and slushies.
From restaurants and breweries to wine shops, bakeries and coffee shops, a Peach Week Food & Drink Competition will be held July 18-28, with each location featuring a special peach-inspired lunch, dinner or dessert dish, as well as unique peach drinks and cocktails. Participating restaurants include Agora Bakery, Ashten’s, Elliotts on Linden, HomeGrown, Chef Warren’s, Ironwood Cafe, Wolcott’s, as well as area breweries and bars such as Railhouse Brewery,
