1 bottle of dry red wine

¼ cup sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

¼ cup orange juice

Mulling spices (recipe follows)

Mulling Spices

3 ounces whole cinnamon sticks

6 whole nutmegs, about 1 ounce

⅓ cup chopped dried orange peel

⅓ cup chopped dried lemon peel

¼ cup allspice berries

¼ cup whole cloves

2 Tablespoons finely chopped crystallized ginger, about 1 ounce

Mulling Spices
  1. Place cinnamon sticks and nutmegs into KRUPS grinder and grind.
  2. Place in a bowl and stir in orange peel, lemon peels, allspice, cloves, and ginger.
