The Right and Wrong

1½ oz Hat Trick Gin

¼ oz Cocchi Americano ½

½ oz Honey-sage syrup*

2 dash Fee Brother’s or Bitter Truth Grapefruit Bitters

½ oz Jack Rudy tonic syrup

Combine all ingredients into shaker glass half filled with ice. Shake hard, then strain into rocks glass with cubed ice. Garnish with peeled orange zest. For a pro move, rub orange peel around the lip of the glass to give this drink a refreshing citrus nose. *To make your own honey-sage syrup, bring equal parts honey and water to a simmer with fresh sage and reduce to your desired, syrupy consistency.
