yields

1 beverage

    Ingredients
  • 1½ oz Hat Trick Gin
  • ¼ oz Cocchi Americano ½
  • ½ oz Honey-sage syrup*
  • 2 dash Fee Brother’s or Bitter Truth Grapefruit Bitters
  • ½ oz Jack Rudy tonic syrup
steps

Combine all ingredients into shaker glass half filled with ice. Shake hard, then strain into rocks glass with cubed ice. Garnish with peeled orange zest. For a pro move, rub orange peel around the lip of the glass to give this drink a refreshing citrus nose.

*To make your own honey-sage syrup, bring equal parts honey and water to a simmer with fresh sage and reduce to your desired, syrupy consistency.
