The Palmetto Party Columbia

The Local Palate, in partnership with Experience Columbia SC, welcomes South Carolina’s top talent to the state’s capital for The Palmetto Party: An Insider’s Taste of South Carolina on September 25, 2025. Embark on a sensational journey through the heart of South Carolina as local chefs showcase the distinct flavors, culture, and charm of each of the state’s regions—the Mountains, Midlands, and Coast.

This second annual event celebrates The Local Palate’s special print issue, Insider’s Guide to South Carolina. Previously called Tableaux, this issue was dedicated to all things Charleston, including food, drink, and fun activities, but our team knew it was time to expand our reach and celebrate all that the Palmetto State has to offer.

The event will be held at South Carolina’s premier international art museum, the Columbia Museum of Art. Join us to savor bites from restaurants and Chef Ambassadors across the state, as well as seasonal cocktails and sips from local favorites.

Participating chefs will be announced soon.

• Doors open to all ticket holders at 5:30pm.
• 21+ event. IDs will be checked at the door.
• Rideshare is encouraged. Please drink responsibly.
