Beat the heat with this frozen Dark ‘n Stormy® from Republic Garden and Lounge in Charleston. This frozen variation on the classic cocktail, made with Goslings Black Seal Rum, claims its origins from a Bermuda ginger beer factory where sailors of the Royal Naval Officers Club discovered that a simple splash of Goslings Black Seal Rum in a glass of Goslings Stormy Ginger Beer was a superb balance of sweet and spicy. The trick to perfecting a Dark ‘n Stormy, frozen or otherwise, is to float the rum on top of the cocktail, then stir within the cocktail for enhanced flavor.
