    ingredients
  • 2 cups whole, peeled, roasted chestnuts
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme, thyme removed from stem
steps
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss chestnuts with honey and melted butter. Lay chestnuts on an ungreased baking sheet and sprinkle with salt to taste.
  3. Roast in oven for 10−15 minutes, or until browned. Remove from the oven and while cooling, sprinkle with fresh thyme. Serve warm.
