Lime Feelin Good made with Mountain Valley Spring Water Sparkling Key Lime Twist

Each year, the Local Palate celebrates the South’s favorite spirit at the annual Whiskey After Dark. The publication partnered with Breakthru Beverage to bring the ambassador’s of world-class whiskey brands to Charleston for 2022’s event. In addition to sampling pours of premium whiskey, three signature cocktail were designed for the event. The Lime Feelin’ Good brightens smoky whiskey with fresh lime juice and cucumber simple syrup, and a finishing touch of Mountain Valley Spring Water Sparkling Key Lime Twist complimented the flavors with a tart effervescence.

Serves 1

    Ingredients
  • 1½ ounces whiskey                    
  • ¼ ounce falernum                    
  • ½ ounce lime juice                                
  • ½ ounce cucumber syrup
  • 1½ ounces Mountain Valley Spring Water Key Lime Twist
  • Garnish: Cucumber slices and lime wheels

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine whiskey, falernum, lime juice, and cucumber syrup and shake well. Strain into a highball glass, add ice, and top with Mountain Valley Spring Water. Use a bar spoon or straw to give everything a quick stir before serving. Garnish with cucumber and lime wheels.
