Medicine for Melancholy

Makes 1 cocktail

  • ‘#ingredients
  • 4 cucumber slices, divided
  • 1½ ounces vodka (the Lobby Bar uses Tito’s
  • ½ ounce absinthe, for rinse
  • ¾ ounce basil simple syrup
  • ¾ ounce lime juice
  • ½ ounce St-Germain
  • ½ ounce absinthe, for rinse

Muddle 3 of the cucumber slices in the bottom of a cocktail tin, then fill with ice. Add next four ingredients and shake well. Rinse a coupe glass with absinthe, discarding extra, then strain drink into coup. Garnish with remaining cucumber slice.
