    For nutmeg syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground nutmeg
  • For the punch
  • 1 750 ml bottle Appleton rum or Wild Turkey rye
  • 1 cup Frangelico
  • 8 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup cold coffee
  1. Make the syrup: Combine water, sugar, and nutmeg in saucepan. Simmer over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cool and strain solids.
  2. Combine syrup and remaining ingredients in punch bowl. Chill with a block of ice and serve in small punch cups
