Makes 1 cocktail
Salt or sal de gusano (a mix of dried costeño peppers, sea salt, and dried maguey worms) for rim (optional)
2½ ounces tequila blanco
Squeeze of lime juice
Grapefruit soda (Squirt or Jarritos would work), to top
Garnish: Lime wedge
- Moisten rim of highball glass with water or lime, and dip in salt. Fill glass with ice.
- Add tequila and lime juice, then top with grapefruit soda.
- Stir together gently. Garnish with lime wedge.
