Serves 6

  • 2 pounds freestone peaches
  • ¼ pound thinly sliced country ham (if you can’t get your hands on it, go traditional and use prosciutto)
  • Move over melon and prosciutto
  • peaches and country ham are the Southern version of the classic Italian snack. Ask your butcher to slice the ham as thinly as possible.

Pit and quarter peaches. Arrange on a platter and wrap or drape wedges with ham.
