Serves 6

    Ingredients
  • 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (we like Duke’ s)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar-based hot sauce,
  •  such as Texas Pete
  • 1 bunch scallions,
  • chopped (about 1 cup)
  • Salt to taste

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, pulse shrimp several times until coarsely chopped.
  2. Transfer to a large bowl, add remaining ingredients, and stir until thoroughly combined.
  3. Serve with Fancy Saltines (recipe below).
