1 glass

  • 1½ ounce Scotch malt whisky
  • 1 ounce Bodegas Gongora
  • Duque de Carmona orange Sherry*
  • ½ ounce Benedictine
  • 2 dashes Bad Dog Bar Craft sarsaparilla dry bitters*
  • Orange peel for garnish
  • * Products available at the Austin Wine merchant
  • Bodegas Gongora
  • or Bad Dog Bar Craft
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with cracked ice.
  2. Stir until extremely cold and strain into chilled cocktail glass or coupe.
  3. Flame an orange peel over the glass and garnish with peel.
