- Soak quinoa in water overnight in a covered container. The quinoa will expand quite a bit. It can remain in the water in your refrigerator for up to a week. Simply measure out the amount of quinoa you need, and drain off the excess water and add to recipes.
- Use double the amount of sprouted quinoa to dry quinoa in recipes calling for dry quinoa, and it needs to cook for a fraction of the time (less than half) needed to cook dry quinoa, so adjust the cooking time accordingly.
