1 cocktail

  • 2 ounces Old Weller Antique Bourbon
  • ¼ ounce vanilla Demerara syrup (recipe follows)
  • 9 drops mole bitters
  • 5 drops cocoa extract
  • Orange peel
  • Vanilla Demerara Syrup
  • 2 cups Demerara
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 vanilla beans
  • split and scraped
  1. When ready to serve, stir with ice and strain into a double old fashioned glass with quality ice cubes.
  2. Express orange peel and use as garnish.

Vanilla Demerara Syrup

  1. For syrup, eat over stovetop until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add vanilla beans and cover, steeping beans for 20 minutes.
