Watermelon Skewers



1 (4-5 pound) seedless watermelon

½ cup tequila

¼ cup Tajin or another chile, lime, and salt seasoning blend

Lime wedges for serving


Cut watermelon into 5-inch batons and spread on a baking tray. Sprinkle with tequila. Rotate watermelon to absorb booze on all sides. Pat batons dry, skewer, and sprinkle with seasoning. Omit tequila step and go light on the chile for kids. Serve with lime wedges.
