To the millions of people who visit every year, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is simply called “The Beach” — and with 60 miles of coastline, there sure are a lot of them. It has quite a few other things, too, including a host of new restaurants to add to its 2,000-plus eateries and several breweries that make up the Myrtle Beach Beer Trail.

Along with great food, The Beach serves up great tunes. Live music plays every day and night, from theatrical productions to beach bar bands. And the rest of the arts and culture scene is growing and thriving, including the development of a new Arts & Innovation District in downtown Myrtle Beach.

Even with so much to do and see in Myrtle Beach, the great outdoors is still the star of the show. With 60 miles of beaches, two state parks, and the Intracoastal Waterway, there are a ton of outdoor activities, like deep-sea fishing and paddleboarding. For something less rigorous, there’s always mini golf. With more than 30 courses, including the Tiger Woods-backed PopStroke mini-golf concept, Myrtle Beach is known as The Mini Golf Capital of the World.
