Shake your Trail Feather – October 19th, 2024 

This celebration along the Bayou Teche National Paddle Trail invites paddlers to choose between a 4.5-mile or a longer 6.5-mile journey from behind Poche’s Meat Market to Breaux Bridge. With live music by the renowned Balfa Toujours, food trucks, and family-friendly activities, it’s an opportunity to support The TECHE Project’s mission while immersing yourself in the natural beauty and local culture of the area. All tickets include a commemorative Festival Pin with this year’s bird, the Blue Jay. 

Halloween Art and Nature Festival – October 26th, 2024

This unique event celebrates the spooky season with a focus on “Creepy Crawlers.” Explore a world of art and nature through sculptural installations by Southern artists, hands-on workshops, and interactive exhibits that highlight the fascinating world of insects. Atchafalaya Basin Festival – November 9th, 2024 

Since its inception in 2007, this free festival has been a staple in showcasing the region’s lively music scene, local art, and delicious cuisine. With a variety of food options, engaging auctions, and camping opportunities, it’s the perfect event for both locals and visitors to experience the heart and soul of St. Martin Parish. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere and enjoy the festive spirit of this cherished annual event. 

Christmas Artwalk in Breaux Bridge – December 14th, 2024

During the Christmas Artwalk, downtown Breaux Bridge transforms into a winter wonderland filled with nearly 70 vendors, and hosts live music and late-night shopping at local stores. Enjoy unique art, crafts, and local cuisine from beloved eateries like Cafe Sydnie Mae and Tante Marie. This event is a delightful opportunity to shop for holiday gifts, savor seasonal treats, and revel in the community spirit of the season. 

St. Lucy Festival of Lights – December 14th, 2024 

With activities including photos with Santa, a stunning Light of the Square display, Cajun music, and a live nativity scene, this event captures the essence of holiday cheer. Enjoy a holiday movie, caroling, and the festive atmosphere as you create lasting memories with family and friends.
