City of Charleston presents Street Fest in partnership with Charleston Wine + Food: A family-friendly, free event to feature food, sips, and tunes.
Come make s’mores, sip a draft beer, listen to a world-class drum line and grab a bite or two…It’s all on the menu at the first-ever, City of Charleston Street Fest (a free event in partnership with Charleston Wine + Food).
On Thursday, March 2 (from 6 to 9 p.m.) three blocks of King Street will be pedestrian-friendly and full of food, drink and activities. As the sole family-oriented event of thefeestival, it’s packing plenty of fun for little culinarians, too.
The fest will feature a musical stage, a Burke High School band performance, for-purchase food and beverages, and entertainment throughout the footprint. Neighborhood businesses will be throwing out their own welcome mats by serving al fresco, keeping later hours and fueling the fun.
A section of Ann Street will house a 21-and-over wine and beer garden, where attendees can purchase and consume alcoholic beverages. Food will be available throughout the footprint, too. Event sponsors supporting the CHSWF activities include Live5News and Lowes Foods.
