Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has over 2,000 restaurants, but that doesn’t mean it’s done evolving its food scene. With each new addition to the culinary landscape, the feel-good food haven of The Beach adds a whole new dimension. Let’s dig into some of the hottest new restaurants at The Beach in 2024.

Whiskey Roots Bar and Grill
Two words define Whiskey Roots: food and fun. They serve them both in equal measure at this Coastal South–inspired bar and grill, whether you’re cutting into the namesake WR Burger topped with barbecue whiskey sauce, sipping a Ken-Tiky cocktail or stopping by for line dancing night.
Swig & Swine
This South Carolina favorite just opened a new location in downtown Myrtle Beach and, like any great barbecue joint, they serve up smoked meats by the pound, sandwiches and a slew of sides. The “Swig” in the name comes from their love of a cold accompanying drink – so you’ll find a robust cocktail, craft beer and whiskey list.
Mura
Now open in The Market Common district, Mura is Myrtle Beach’s first conveyor belt restaurant. Grab a seat and watch as Korean small bites like fried chicken, bibimbap rice bowls and chicken katsu sandwiches roll out. Take anything off the belt that looks delicious and pair it with your choice of tea-based drinks or cocktails from the full-service bar.

Le Manna Bread
Open daily in the newly developed Arts and Innovation District, Le Manna Bread is an international bakery specializing in baked goods and flavors from all around the world. They have it all, including espresso drinks, breakfast sandwiches served on your choice of bread (even French toast), empanadas, sandwiches, desserts and more.
Big Chill Island House
Set to open in April, this big, breezy establishment in the Barefoot Landing shopping and entertainment district is made for a chill time. The menu, which follows the latest culinary trends, will connect people to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Carolina Coast with its fresh seafood and classic American dishes.
