How much do you really know about GMOs? Springer Mountain Farms is on a mission to educate consumers about them as a part of its effort to making food better. This year, the company launched its PLUS line of products, which are raised solely on American-grown, Non-GMO Project Verified feed.
To shed light on the decision to eliminate GMOs, Springer Mountain Farms produced “On the Farm,” a series of seventeen behind-the-scenes videos that give viewers a glimpse into the lives of family farmers and other voices in the food world. One episode features Carolyn O’Neill—a registered dietician and nutritionist, food journalist and cookbook author—to explain more about what GMOs are.
