Charlie and Andy Nelson of Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery in Nashville share their take on a frozen Old Fashioned. Their take on this cocktail classic includes lemonade, orange juice concentrate, and a few dashes of your favorite bitters. Built to withstand the heat and serve a small crowd, it’s an unmatched batch cocktail for summertime gatherings.

Serves 6 to 8

    Ingredients
  • 1½ cups Green Brier’s Belle Meade Bourbon or Tennessee Whiskey
  • ¼ cup cherry brandy
  • 3 ounces lemonade concentrate (about ¼ can)
  • 3 ounces orange juice concentrate (about ¼ can)
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • ¾ cup simple syrup
  • Garnish: Cocktail cherries
steps

Combine all ingredients in a blender, then fill to the top with ice. Blend on high until well incorporated. Top off with ice, then blend again until ice is crushed. Divide among glasses and garnish each with a cherry.
