1/2 ounce maple syrup
4 heavy dashes Angostura bitters
2 1/12 ounces whiskey
Garnish: Orange peel
In a rocks glass, slowly stir together syrup and bitters. Add whiskey and a large ice cube; slowly stir for 30 seconds. Garnish with an orange peel.
