Casey Corn’s life has been an adventure. She wrote her college thesis on olive oil, she’s won awards for her latte art, and she became a classically trained chef at Le Cordon Bleu in London, eventually landing in the South in 2021. As the host of Magnolia Network’s Recipe Lost & Found, she helped families track down and re-create their lost recipes. Her fridge at home in Atlanta stays stocked with Japanese and Chinese ingredients, colorful veggies, and flavor-packed dips and sauces that frequently grace her rice bowls. “I’m currently really into the microwaveable servings of sticky rice from Bibigo,” says Casey Corn. “I love just putting rice vinegar, Kewpie, and some furikake on it. If I’m feeling fancy, a good jammy egg on top is perfection.” The chef is chronicling her ongoing travels and delicious eats on social media, where fellow enthusiastic eaters can find her recipes.
“My go-to fridge snack is some sort of cheese. I work with a lot of cheese companies and also my daughter eats a ton of it—she’s clearly related to me.”

1. Purple Daikon Radishes
“A perfect purple daikon is slightly sweet with a peppery kick and a nice crunch,” says Corn. “I put them on everything.
2. Sandwich Fixings
“Specifically Cabot Seriously Sharp cheddar, Boar’s Head maple turkey, and bread.” Local sourdough is the chef’s favorite.
3. Dips
“Hummus (Trader Joe’s) for my husband, Bitchin Sauce for me.”
4. Soybean Products
Think miso, tofu, and soy sauces. “We eat a lot of Japanese- and Chinese-inspired meals.”
