Toast holiday festivities and special occasions with a champagne cocktail. Created by Todd Thrasher of Thrasher’s Rum in Washington DC.

One cocktail

    Ingredients
  • ½ ounce Grand Marnier
  • ½ ounce Plantation O.F.T.D. Overproof Rum
  • Sugar cube
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 teaspoon cherry juice
  • Sparkling wine
  • Garnish: Cherry
steps

In a small metal bowl, combine Grand Marnier, rum, and sugar cube. Light on fire for 1 minute, then extinguish. Add bitters, cherry juice, and an ice cube, then stir until mixture is cold. Transfer to a champagne flute, top with sparkling wine, and garnish with cherry.
