Using Kinship Conniption Gin from Durham Distillery in Durham, North Carolina, this cocktail is a sophisticated and exciting take on the classic French 75 that turns purple to pink with the lemon juice with the help of butterfly pea flower.

    ingredients
  • 1.5 ounces Conniption Kinship Gin
  • ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces Ruffino prosecco, chilled
  • Garnish: lemon twist
steps
  1. Shake gin, lemon, and simple syrup in a cocktail tin with ice.
  2. Strain into a coupe glass , top with Prosecco, and garnish the French 75 with a lemon twist.
