Blood Orange Spritz mocktail

High Rise seltzers are CBD-infused with natural ingredients and benefits, and make the perfect bubbly companion for mocktails. This blood orange spritz combines their Blood Orange Seltzer with an earthy turmeric-ginger simple syrup and fresh blood orange for a tart, sweet, and refreshing mocktail.

Makes 1 mocktail

    ingredients
  • 1 ounce blood orange juice, fresh squeezed 

  • 1 ounce lemon juice, fresh squeezed

  • ½ ounce turmeric ginger syrup
  • Blood Orange High Rise Seltzer
  • Garnish: blood orange wheel
  • turmeric ginger syrup
  • 1⁄2 cup sugar 

  • 1 cup water 

  • Ginger root, chopped into 1-2 inch pieces
  • Turmeric root, chopped into 1-2 inch pieces
steps

Make the turmeric ginger syrup

  1. Add ingredients to a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil stirring occasionally.
  2. Once the sugar has dissolved reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Let cool completely and strain into an airtight container.

 

Make the mocktail

  1. Add blood orange juice, turmeric ginger syrup, and lemon juice to a shaker and shake until incorporated.
  2. Pour into a glass of your choice.
  3. Add ice.
  4. Top with a Blood Orange D9 seltzer and stir.
  5. Garnish with blood orange wheel.
