Kat Petonito’s Creamy Fruit Salad

Serves 12 to 16

    ingredients
  • Note: Make this dish one day in advance of serving.

  • 16 ounces heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3-4 Honeycrisp apples
  • 1 (105-ounce) can Del Monte Fruit Cocktail in syrup, drained
  • 12 ounces nata de coco (melon flavor), drained*
  • Macapuno strings as needed (optional)*

  • *Find these online or in most Asian
  • grocery stores.

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream and condensed milk. Stir until well blended.
  2. Peel, core, and dice apples into medium cubes. Immediately add to milk mixture to prevent oxidation.
  3. Add well-drained fruit cocktail and nata de coco to the bowl. If using, add macapuno strings as desired.
  4. Gently fold everything together, ensuring fruit is well coated. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the fruit mixture.
  5. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor and texture.
