Key Lime Ricky Cocktail

Each year, the Local Palate celebrates the South’s favorite spirit at the annual Whiskey After Dark. For our 2023 event, the publication partnered with Breakthru Beverage to bring the ambassador’s of world-class whiskey brands to Charleston. In addition to sampling pours of premium whiskey, three signature cocktail were designed for the event.

Riffing on the Southern classic, key lime pie, the Key Lime Ricky cocktail balances sweetness, a bright essence of lime, refreshing Mountain Valley Spring Water Key Lime Twist, and the smoky undertones of bourbon for a cocktail that is seasonless. You may not need all 2 ounces of sparkling water, just pour to fill the glass to the desired level.
