Makes 1 cocktail
1½ ounces bourbon
1 ounce Make & Muddle 3 Herb Gracious Grapefruit Syrup or substitution
½ ounce lime juice
Seltzer
Lime wedge or grapefruit peel for garnish

½ ounce grapefruit lime syrup
½ ounce thyme, rosemary, and sage syrup

steps
- To a cocktail tin filled with ice, add bourbon, syrup, and lime juice and shake until very cold, 20 to 30 seconds.
- Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and top with seltzer.
- Garnish as desired.
To make the 3-Herb Gracious Grapefruit Syrup Substitution
- Bring 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water to a boil. Remove from heat and transfer half to another pan. To the first pan, add the peel of half a grapefruit and the peel of 1 lime. Cover and steep for at least 2 hours.
- To the second pan add 5 stems fresh thyme, 2 stems fresh rosemary, and 2 stems fresh sage and steep for up to 2 hours. Strain both syrups and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
