- In a large, lidded container, combine all ingredients, ensuring nutmeg, cinnamon stick, and apples are covered with bourbon.
- Allow to infuse for 7 days away from direct sunlight. Serve neat or on the rocks. (Peters recommends adding ¼- to ½-ounce simple syrup to each 2-ounce pour to round out the flavors.)
